Accessibility

AmericanWest Bank is committed to providing full banking access to all our customers, including those with disabilities.  We provide access to a variety of products and services online, by phone, and in our offices to assist you with your banking needs.

You may access your AmericanWest accounts at any of our locations. Since AmericanWest Bank has been growing through acquisitions, we conduct a review of each new location for accessibility. As we grow into your high-performing business focused community bank, we are striving to update locations to improve access for those with disabilities. Our employees are happy to assist with filling out forms or providing account information. If you have a specific need, please contact our branch, call our Client Service center at 800.708.4378, or email us at ADAssistance@awbank.net to request assistance.

Our ATMs have been upgraded for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, with voice guidance capabilities, a Braille keypad, and height/reach requirements.  A customer can plug in their headphones and follow the voice prompts to obtain their transaction information. Visit our locations page and browse branches to get more information on ATMs and available services.

Customers can access our Teleservice phone banking system at 800.772.5479, by a touch-tone keypad. You can retrieve all your account information, including balances, and loan payment information. You can also perform transfers.

For the hearing impaired, the Bank requests that customers use publicly available relay services to communicate. Clients can call the Client Service Center directly at 800.708.4378, this will bypass the automated system (VRU). Client Services is open 7:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. PST, Monday through Friday. TTY relay services can be reached by anyone dialing 711 from a telephone or TTY. The 711 dialing feature is now available nationwide.

Our check printing vendor, Deluxe, provides large print checks.  Larger 8 1/8” x 3” checks leave plenty of room for writing, embossed guidelines are easily felt, and standard lettering is included.  Customized register and deposits are also included with your order.

Through the use of online banking and bill payment, you can view your transactions and statements online, allowing you to adjust the size of the font to more easily read for those with a visual impairment.

We recognize that individuals may have disability related needs. If you need assistance or have any requests for accommodation, please contact your local branch, email us at ADAssistance@awbank.net, or call our Client Service center at 800.708.4378.
